If your Year 5 child is preparing for the GL 11+, ten minutes a night on these tests covers all four sections.
Your child is sitting the GL 11+, where working quickly matters as much as knowing the answer. Each test takes ten minutes, so they practise against the clock and one test fits into an evening. A Year 6 child still polishing their reasoning can use them right up to the exam.
The pack holds four printed books, one for each part of the test, with over 30 tests in each. Answers sit at the back of every book, so marking takes only a few minutes. In the non-verbal book, children draw a path for a hare to finish a series, then pick the Roman soldiers that complete a pattern on parade. Puzzle pages sit between the tests, and a progress chart in each book records the scores.
Separate books let you practise in your child's own order. Maths and English build problem solving and comprehension, while the two reasoning books cover question types schools rarely teach. Exam Ninja chose these four so each section of the GL paper gets timed practice of its own.
