The GL 11+ Complete Preparation Pack works through Verbal Reasoning, Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning and comprehension, the four areas GL tests. Your Year 6 child can learn one question type at a time, then move on to whole papers. A Year 5 child starting early has room to go slowly.
Each printed workbook shows a question type, then gives your child plenty of practice at it. On the non-verbal pages they circle the option that finishes a visual series. In verbal reasoning they pick the two words closest in meaning from a group. Answers are included, and the practice papers add full worked explanations.
The four skills workbooks do the teaching, and the two practice paper books put your child under test conditions. Book 1 and Book 2 hold four complete tests between them, each with answer sheets. That gives your child Maths, English and both reasoning sections in one sitting, as on the day.
