Your child is sitting the GL 11+ for grammar or independent school entry, and these are the four subjects they will be tested on.
Children take the GL 11+ in Year 5 or Year 6, and the papers can arrive in any of four subjects. This pack gives your child timed practice in all of them. The questions are tailored to the GL style, so the wording and the layout match what your child will meet on the day.
Each of the four printed books holds four sets of papers, which is 16 papers in total. Your child works through one paper at a time, then you check it against the answer book and read the explanation for anything they missed. The maths sample shows the multiple-choice format, with questions on perimeter, place value and a pictogram to read.
Sixteen complete papers with full explanations give you far more to work with than a paper here and there. The reasoning books cover the two subjects children meet least at school, while the English and maths books practise skills their lessons already touch. A Parents' Guide in each book explains how the 11+ works and how to plan the time you have.
