Your student sits the Foundation tier AQA Combined Science papers at the end of Year 11, and this pack holds both the revision and the practice for them.
Foundation tier means the grades 5-1 papers, and this pack keeps to that content. It covers biology, chemistry and physics on the AQA Trilogy course. The 280-page printed Revision Guide takes each topic in turn, with diagrams and worked examples. One page covers the practical on wire length and resistance. It gives a circuit diagram, a method to follow and a graph to plot. The 292-page workbook then asks exam-style questions on every topic. Both books have full answers.
The two books follow the same order, so a session is easy to plan. Your student reads a page, then answers the matching questions. In one, they sort types of respiration and explain the results of an experiment with a snail. Another asks them to read temperature data, spot the anomalies and say what the control flask is for.
