Great products, thank you. It has helped me to see where my son is up to and what areas he needs to work on.

About the GCSE Physics AQA Complete Pack - Higher Tier (Ages 14-16)

  • Three CGP books for AQA GCSE Physics Higher Tier, 364 pages in total
  • GCSE Physics AQA Higher Revision Guide explains the whole Higher course
  • GCSE Physics AQA Higher Exam Practice Workbook for exam-style questions on every topic
  • GCSE Physics AQA 10-Minute Tests gives thirty short tests plus a progress chart
  • Full answers for the practice questions and the tests, for Year 10 and Year 11

Your Year 10 or Year 11 student is sitting AQA GCSE Physics at Higher Tier, and this pack covers the course from notes to exam questions.

Students describe an experiment to measure a motor's power, interpret a stopwatch reading
Students describe an experiment to measure a motor's power, interpret a stopwatch reading, and suggest reasons for measurement errors.

The Higher Tier papers come at the end of Year 11, and they ask for harder calculations and longer written answers. Revision needs explaining and practising in equal measure, which is what these three books do between them. A Year 10 student can start with the notes and keep building through Year 11. Everything here is written for students taking physics as a separate science.

A diagram of a star's life cycle with missing labels to fill in, followed by a short written explanation question
Students fill in missing labels on a star life cycle diagram and explain red-shift evidence for the Big Bang theory.

The printed Revision Guide runs through the whole Higher course, with worked examples such as rearranging V = IR to find the current. Your student reads a topic, then turns to the workbook for questions in the style of the real papers. One page asks them to measure the power output of a motor and explain where errors creep in.

A worked example on calculating current, a practical experiment on wire length, and a quick quiz question on resistance
Students rearrange the V=IR formula to find current, then follow a practical method to investigate how wire length affects resistance.

The tests book adds thirty short tests, split by topic in the same way as the exam papers, so ten minutes fills a gap on a school evening. Answers sit at the back of that book with a progress chart your student can fill in. Marking their own work shows them which topics to read again.
