The first part of this 92-page printed workbook works through single topics, from putting words in alphabetical order to moving a letter between two words. Six assessment tests follow, mixing question types the way the real test does. Detailed answers at the back explain the reasoning behind each question.
Later pages ask your child to find the letter that appears most often in words such as blossom and ambassador, then to identify a letter from a set of clues. Each topic page ends with a face to tick, so your child records how it felt. That tells you what to go back over before the six tests at the end.
