The GL 11+ tests English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, so your child needs practice in all four subjects. This pack of four printed workbooks gives them that. Each book is written for ages 10-11 and matched to the GL Assessment papers used for grammar and independent school entry. A Year 5 child who starts early can work through them at a gentler pace.
Each workbook opens with topic sections that take one skill at a time, such as rounding numbers or putting words in alphabetical order. Then come the assessment tests: five in Non-Verbal Reasoning, four in Maths, and six each in Verbal Reasoning and English. The GL 11+ Workbook Pack (Ages 10-11) is perfectly suited for children in Year 5 or Year 6 who are preparing to take the GL Assessment 11+ exams, which are typically sat in the September - October period of Year 6.
This resource is also ideal for children preparing for other 11+ test providers, including FSCE, CSSE, the Sutton Selective Eligibility Test (SET), as well as 11+ exams authored by individual grammar schools themselves.
