Counting to 100, number facts to 20, shapes and time: this Year 1 maths pack follows the topics your child meets in class. All four books match the National Curriculum for ages 5-6. A Year 2 child still shaky on number facts can go back over the basics here without feeling babyish.
Each topic in the study and question book opens with colourful notes, then questions on the same skill. The two workout books add quick written practice and timed mental maths tests. Answers sit in the CGP books, with the mental maths ones in a removable section, and the Scholastic answers come as a PDF download from Exam Ninja.
The questions come in small pieces, so a child of five or six can finish one and feel pleased.
