Year 4 English asks for more: longer writing, trickier spellings and new punctuation rules. The practice here sits close to the National Curriculum topics your child covers in lessons. These are also the topics the KS2 SATs test, though this stays ordinary school work. The study book reaches up to Year 6, so an older child can use it to go back over grammar basics.
Each topic is a short set of activities, so a page or two after school is plenty.
