Your Year 6 child gets a book of questions for each science topic, along with the notes that explain them.
Year 6 science covers a lot of ground in one year. Each topic your child meets in class has its own book of practice here, in line with the National Curriculum. A Year 7 child who never quite grasped circuits can use the same questions to rebuild confidence.
Each printed Workout book breaks its topic into short question sections, and a mixed section at the end tests the lot again. One page asks your child to circle the right offspring, then list the traits they inherit. Answers sit on pull-out pages in the centre, so your child marks their own work.
